SmartDesks Launches iLid Flip Workstations

iLid tables provide 10 inches of workspace when the monitor is flipped up.

SmartDesks has released iLid tables and desks, a new line of flip computer workstations.

The new workstations allow users to mount an LCD monitor on a friction-fitting hinge that can be flipped up when the computer is in use, or flipped down when the entire desktop is needed. The desks and tables, each available as single or double workstations, include CPU storage and wire management and 10-inch-deep workspace when the monitor is flipped up. iLid desks also include a 26" x 8" retractable keyboard and mouse tray with a retaining fence and cord pass-through, while the tables have an optional keyboard tray or storage shelf.

Other features of the workstations include:

  • A power strip with three power outlets and a powered USB port for charging devices;
  • Optional locking casters;
  • Maximum monitor size of 21" (w) x 16" (h); and
  • Laminate with PVC edge trim or 3D Thermofoil styling options.
