The 1996 Grolier Multimedia Encyclopedia boasts a redesigned interface, more multimedia content and the ability to link to a wealth of online information.

With a built–;in connection to CompuServe Information Service (CIS), users can leap from 12,000 selected articles on the CD–;ROM to related to¼cs online. CIS will provide a free month of basic service plus ten free hours.

The Yearbook gives a detailed, day–;by–;day look at people and events that shaped the world from January 1994 to June 1995. A Quick Tour familiarizes first–;timers with the new features and search engine.

The 1996 Grolier Multimedia Encyclopedia has added 1,200 new articles, bringing the total to over 33,000. Embedded in the articles are thousands of hypertext links.
