Fetch 3.0 Supports Open Transport SW

Dartmouth College announced the release of Fetch 3.0, the latest version of its award-winning Macintosh file transfer utility (ftp) for the Internet.

Version 3.0 adds support for Apple's Open Transport networking software as well as for multiple simultaneous connections, Drag and Drop, the Internet Config shared preferences system, multiple bookmark lists and AppleScript. Users can view multiple servers simultaneously and move files or entire directories simply by dragging them to and from the desktop.

A new search command enables efficient searching of remote archives. Fetch 3.0 also supports several new security options, including SOCKS gateways, S/Key passwords and passive-mode transfers.
