The Institute for Global Learning's (IGL) Web site (www.laurasian.org/igl.html) provides users with online course work specifically designed for the Web. Content of the self-managed learning integrates scholarly and real-world information sources, Internet Relay Chat and e-mail to communicate with faculty and peers in real time and synchronously. Initial course offerings include: Intercultural Communications; International Business Planning; The APEC Economic System and Understanding the Contemporary Chinese World View through Classical Texts.
