Audio Systems Deliver Ful Surround Sound

Harman Kardon announces two complete surround-sound systems packaged specifically for computer and multimedia applications. These systems combine a high-quality audio/video receiver with four custom-designed satellite speakers, a center channel speaker and a powered subwoofer.

The AVAP1G provides full surround sound in a compact size and at a modest price, while the AVAP2G adds more amplifier power and operating features such as direct front-panel access to all tuner presets. A remote control also operates other Harman Kardon audio devices.

Each speaker can be mounted onto a shelf, desktop or wall (brackets included) for added flexibility in a crowded classroom or office. A subwoofer with 50-watt amplifier assures that the audience wills both feel and hear low notes, whether from videodisc movies or Real Audio broadcasts on the Web.

For media centers and other settings, the AVAP1G systemís AVR10 A/V receiver provides a high-quality phono input for use with a record turntable. Harman Kardon, Woodbury, NY, (516) 496-3400, www.harmankardon.com
