The Embark site provides students with in-depth advice on how tonavigate the entire going-to-college process; information on more than 6,000accredited higher education institutions; interactive test preparation; onlineapplications to almost 600 schools; and comprehensive financial aid data.Students can sign up with Embark’s “recruiter” service and have schoolscommunicate with them directly. A “locker” option allows users to store all oftheir personal information relating to their college-search process and toaccess e-mail messages from universities interested in recruiting them.
