Winsted Corporation's Symphony System

Winsted Corporation has introduced a new media desk styled to complement the Symphony system. The new model E4800 system includes an ergonomically designed desk made of apple-ply core. The desk features high-pressure plastic laminate surfaces and a freestanding matching rack cabinet with space for a CPU tower. The 72" wide and 43" deep work surface of the desk, coupled with the spacious riser, provide ample space for monitors, speakers and keyboard controls. The desk includes leg levelers, cable raceway and wire access grommets. The overall dimensions are 40"H x 72"W x 43"D, and the overall dimensions of the rack cabinet are 29 3/8"H x 34 5/8"W x 29"D.

In order to accommodate large monitors and multiplexers, Winsted Corp. has added a recessed monitor shelf to many of its console systems. The angled recessed monitor shelf mounts at different angles for 30 degrees of ideal viewing. The model 86182 is a recessed monitor mount insert designed for low profile consoles. Included with this shelf is a rear support bracket that adjusts for any depth monitor, and keeps the monitor's screen flush with the front of the sloping rack face. Customized cutouts for large monitors can be ordered from Winsted for a clean, finished appearance. The Winsted Corp., Minneapolis, MN, (952) 944-9050, www.winsted.com.
