New Releases...Electronic Document Filing Solution

Minolta Corp.'s PageScope Cabinet (PSC) is an electronic management tool that allows computer users to easily find, view, organize, and share electronic documents and scanned images on a PC. The program uses document thumbnail images to make file searches faster and more intuitive. It also has features that make working with electronic images convenient and more productive. Key features of the PSC include scan to desktop, file format conversion, and e-mail drag and drop.

Minolta is also offering PageScope Cabinet Pro, which allows users to store and retrieve electronic files from a secure network server drive that has been mirrored or striped for continuous backup of the data. The software also has built-in OCR (optical character recognition) to convert text-paper documents into electronic document files that can be edited through a standard document application on the PC. The PSC software is included with the purchase of print controllers. Minolta Corp., Ramsey, N.J., (201) 825-4000, www.minoltausa.com.
