Digital Imaging Cameras: Sharp Electronics

Sharp's VE-CG30U and VE-CG40U models are outfitted with the company's 1.5" high-resolution CG Silicon LCD screen and viewfinder, which enable the photographer to play back a higher resolution image while consuming less power. The digital cameras come equipped with bracket exposure, aperture- and shutter-priority modes, gamma correction and full manual options for complete photographer control. They also feature a Quick Link button for one-touch photo transfer to a PC. The VE-CG30U model has a 3.3-megapixel CCD, while the VE-CG40U model features a 4.2-megapixel CCD. Both also have a 3X optical zoom lens and 3X digital zoom, USB driver and interface, white-balance control, and image effects. The cameras also come with a multitude of supplied accessories such as a 16 MB SD memory card, USB cable and an AC adapter.
