News Briefs - Leader of the Year Award

The State Educational Technology Directors Association (www.setda.org) has honored Brenda Williams, executive director of the Office of Technology and Information Systems for the West Virginia Department of Education, with its first Leader of the Year Award. The award will be given annually to one SETDA member who exhibits leadership in technology integration and collaboration with peers through SETDA initiatives, as well as engages with the broad education technology community. Williams has been an educator for more than 25 years and currently serves as the vice chairman of SETDA's board of directors.
