GENEVALOGIC has released AppControl, the latest plug-in for its Vision classroom management software. AppControl allows teachers to remotely launch applications, store documents, and manage student access to programs. Teachers also can activate the simultaneous startup of applications on their students’ computers. AppControl works on any Windows-based system on which Vision6 is installed, and is available in Spanish, French, German, and Italian. Price: $3 per student computer (10-computer minimum); K-12 site licenses start at$375.
