NEC Launches High-End 30-Inch Display

NEC last week debuted a new high-end model in its MultiSync 90 Series of professional LCD displays, expanding the lineup to include a 30-inch widescreen unit. The new MultiSync LCD3090WQXi widescreen display is targeted toward high-end graphics applications, including design, photography, print production, and 3D/CAD applications.

The MultiSync LCD3090WQXi offers a widescreen resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels and is designed for uniformity in color and luminance, with automatic compensation of inconsistencies on a pixel by pixel basis. Some of its other features include:

  • 12-bit internal LUT;
  • HDCP (High Bandwidth Digital Content Protection);
  • A color gamut 102 percent that of NTSC;
  • Automatic backlight adjustment for different lighting situations;
  • DVI-D and DVI-I connectivity; and
  • Spectraview II support (for color calibration).
