Extron Ships Sound Field Voice Amplification Mic System for Classrooms

##AUTHORSPLIT##<--->

Extron Electronics is expanding its classroom field voice amplification system designed specifically for classrooms. The company has begun shipping its new VoiceLift, an infrared microphone designed for Extron's PoleVault classroom sound system. Extron is also supporting the system with a grant program for schools.

The VoiceLift Microphone is an IR microphone system that includes a wireless microphone, IR receiver, and charging station. The pendant-style microphone is designed for use with PoleVault, an amplified A/V switching and control system designed for classroom settings. It supports up to two microphones per system, offers on-mic volume and mute control, and includes support for e-mail notification.

Extron has also launched a grant program to help K-12 schools evaluate the PoleVault and VoiceLift systems. The program provides A/V systems for pilot classrooms. An application is available online.
