Middle School Math Students Given Free Access to Online Homework Help

##AUTHORSPLIT##<--->

Algebra students agonizing over those one or two impenetrable problems in tonight's homework assignment now have a place to turn, free of charge. Middle schoolers enrolled in math classes using Texas Instruments' MathForward instruction and curriculum program have been given free access to Hotmath, a site offering extensive homework assistance.

Math teachers using the MathForward text and curricula in their classes are given a login code for Hotmath, which they can pass on to their students, who can access the site from any computer connected to the Internet. The site will then guide the user through any odd-numbered problem in the text, which teachers often use as the source of homework assignments in such classes.

In addition, Hotmath offers video tutorials on advanced tools such as graphing calculators, as well as interactive activities and games, practice exams, and math workbooks.

An individual Hotmath subscription for homework help normally runs $49 per year, with an additional $29 for access to video tutorials.
