Security company Centegix has acquired Ident-A-Kid, a provider of a visitor management solution used in some 7,000 schools in the United States.
Digital tutoring provider Paper has acquired MajorClarity, a career and college readiness platform, and integrated its CCR functions into its expanded platform as part of its plan to transform Paper into a comprehensive “Educational Support System” solution for K–12 schools, Paper said.

Adaptive learning math and reading ed tech provider DreamBox Learning has expanded its reading portfolio to PreK–2 students nationwide for the first time with the launch of Reading Park. The program, designed to be playful and engaging, adapts in real time to a student’s level of reading mastery with a personalized learning path based on national and state English Language Arts standards.
