BarCode SW Helps Manage Documents

With BackTrack, educators can label and track books, files, charts and other items with their PC using bar code technology. It combines a WYSIWYG barcode label design and print utility with a flexible database. Items are controlled with functions such as time and date stamping, overdue reports and reservations. Personnel may use barcodes for medical files, accounting records, ID badges, textbooks and AV media libraries. BackTrack is completely "plug and play," requiring minimal computer expertise. It supports a wide range of printers and barcode symbologies. Users have the ability to print barcodes on different labels, establish standard or individual "loan" periods for each item, and print a variety of standard reports.
