Networking Server Works as IP Router

TribeLink 8 is an 8-port multi-protocol remote access server and Internet router. Using standard phone lines or ISDN, TribeLink8 offers a complete TCP/IP connection solution for small- to medium-sized organizations.

Users can connect to an Internet service provider, access a remote LAN and the Internet, and establish links from one office to another. To save phone charges, connections can be automatically established only when there is information to be sent to a remote link and terminated when the transfer is finished.

Remote PC, Macintosh and UNIX users dial into TribeLink8 using industry-standard PPP software. WebManage, a World Wide Web-based management system, allows network managers to configure and monitor TribeLink8 from any computer running a Web browser.

Multiple levels of protection prevent unauthorized users from accessing the network. Maximum connection times can be established for each user by day, week or month. Tribe Computer Works, Alameda, CA, (800) 77-TRIBE. MWU
