Search Virtual Libraries 24 Hours/Day

The Impact/ONLINE WebPAC (Public Access Catalog) allows Internet users with virtually any Web browser, such as Netcom's Netcruiser, Netscape Navigator or Microsoft's Internet Explorer, to enter a library consortium's home page and access an online OPAC catalog or database to locate desired books or other information.

Users can create an Interlibrary Loan Request to obtain the item through their local library, or from anywhere in the consortium. They also get access to the libraries' own catalogs, a listing of all resources available in a given library association and information being made available at no cost on the Web.

The service provides virtual access to the library around the clock. Auto-Graphics, Inc., Pomona, CA, (800) 776-6939, www.auto-graphics.com. WMDU
