LearningPlus is an interactive computer-delivered instructional program with accompanying handbooks designed to help students improve their reading, writing, mathematics and critical thinking skills. The program contains six main interrelated components: Introduction, which teaches how to use the program and computer; Skills Profile, including diagnostics tests that assess students' strengths and weaknesses; Instruction, which includes more than 35 hours in each Reading, Writing and Mathematics courses; Getting Ready for Tests, an extensive array of test-taking strategies; Practice Tests that follow course instruction; and a Management System to track students' work.
