Delphi Tool Comes in Low-Priced Version

Borland has released a low-priced version of its award-winning Delphi rapid application development (RAD) tool for educators, called Learn to Program Delphi. A 30-day free trial edition can be found at http://www.borland.com/delphi20/. Designed for programming in Windows 3.1/95/NT, Delphi combines the ease-of-use of tools like Visual Basic with the power of third-generation languages traditionally taught in computer science courses, such as C++. The software supports a broad range of computing industry standards including ActiveX controls, OLE 2.0, ISAPI, NSAPI, DDE and ODBC. In addition to the 16-bit version of Delphi 1.0, Learn to Program with Delphi ships with a printed tutorial, online curriculum and sample applications and source code.
