Research SW Gives Edge In Higher Education

POISE Institutional Research (NIS) module is the first Campus America POISE product to be developed using the PowerBuilder toolset and is the first Campus America product to use ODBC technology. With its Windows-based GUI, NIS is also the first client-server POISE software.

POISE-NIS is a decision-support system that provides tools to perform longitudinal studies from data in any POISE module. Data from these studies enables colleges and universities to competitively position themselves. Report templates are available for reports common to most institutions. Each site can modify these templates to fit its unique reporting needs, and produce user-defined ad hoc reports and graphs.

POISE-NIS is licensed on a per-user basis, and is used by more than 230 colleges and universities for administrative information processing for admissions, financial aid, registration, degree audit, student billing and receivables, teleregistration, alumni and financial reporting.
