Explore Australia and Learn a Language

World Walker Destination: Australia takes students on a journey through the wilderness of Australia and into a labyrinth of caves, looking for clues to dinosaur skeletons hidden deep inside. Along the way, theyíll play food chain solitaire, check out video footage and even learn French and Spanish! The software introduces foreign languages in an engaging way, integrating pictures and sounds that let students eventually build over 200 sentences in Spanish, French or English.

The programís Reference Library features multilingual info cards with video footage, animal sounds and watercolor graphics, providing details about the people, animals and places of Australia. Varying degrees of difficulty keep the activities challenging, and teachers can track multiple usersí progress. Childrenís Software Review gave World Walker Destination: Australia four and a half stars (out of five), and it has also received a "Seal of Quality" from The Family Channel.
