Made expressly for math students is the Cassiopeia A-20 Computer Extender. This Windows CE handheld PC includes Maple V software. College-prep students and teachers can work on problems in algebra, trigonometry, analytic geometry and calculus. Graphs can be made in 2-D or 3-D plots.

The Cassiopeia A-20 weighs less than 16 oz. with batteries. It features a mini keyboard and Touch Screen FSTN LCD. The included stylus is used to draw mathematical models on the Sketchpad and to select functions on the Graphing Calculator that appears on the LCD screen.

It suffices for a handy (no pun intended) calculator with the added bonus of Pocket Word and Pocket Excel. With a 2MB built-in Compact Flash ROM card slot, Infrared port, 16 MB RAM, and Internet capability, it is loaded with potential beyond its mathematical function.
