Network Technologies' Universal ST-nXm-U Matrix KVM switch is a new low-cost alternative that allows up to four users to share up to 512 PC, Sun and Mac CPUs. This switch accesses PC, Sun and Mac computers without the need for plug-in modules. It can be used as a single or multi-platform switch and works with any type of keyboard, not just the PS/2 keyboard.

Users can easily change platforms using standard VGA cables and NTI adapter interface cables. Other features include an LCD display, buttons on the front panel that allow the user to move through the LCD screens to set the baud rate, unit address for cascading, and user-to-computer connections. The Universal Matrix KVM switch has the ability to save and recall up to 10 different user-to-computer configurations. It requires no special tools or software for immediate operation.
