Late Breaks - PhoneMaster

PhoneMaster is providing 157 schools in the Washington D.C. School District with a complete communications package to help enhance the district’s efforts in generating a higher level of parental involvement. The program initially focuses on absence notification; parents will be contacted by phone when their child has received an unexcused absence for the day. PhoneMaster will also provide a student tip line, where students and parents can anonymously alert school officials of suspicious activity. Homework assignments will also be available to parents and students through a voice bulletin board feature. All information can be accessed 24 hours a day.
