Take Control of Cabling

Panduit's new Stackable Cable Rack Spacers are designed to convert conventional ladder racks for routing bulk fiber cables or cable bundles. These wiring accessories are offered in 1-position and 6-position styles for cable bundles up to 0.8" in diameter. The 6-position spacers can be used with the 1-position spacers for greatest ladder rack width utilization. They eliminate the pinch points that can occur when heavy bulk cables or large cable bundles are stacked one on top of the other, and the potential signal distortion that can result. The initial spacer is attached to the rung of the ladder rack with a standard Panduit nylon PAN-TY Cable Tie. A dovetail locking mechanism allows additional spacers to be stacked a recommended 5-high for maximum cable capacity.

Also from Panduit, the Flexible D-Ring is designed for vertical applications and can be rotated a full 90 degrees for open access and entry of large cable bundles. They are offered in 6.08 square-inch and 12.17 square-inch capacities. Both are made of durable polycarbonate and are designed with rounded corners to prevent chaffing of the cable insulation. They are also ideal for use wherever cables need to be routed along a predetermined path and open access is desirable. The D-Rings feature standard EIA/TIA mounting screw hole spacing for universal use on a wide variety of rack systems. Wall mounting is also a popular option.
