Scholastic, Inc., a creator and distributor of textbooks, magazines, technology, teacher materials and home products, will share a content licensing agreement with ePALS Classroom Exchange, an online classroom community and provider of classroom technology. With this partnership, Scholastic.com educators will have an opportunity to establish international e-mail connections with ePALS classrooms around the world to connect students through collaborative learning. Utilizing ePALS’ language translation tools so that students and teachers can communicate in their native languages, ePALS users will be provided with Scholastic.com online Internet collaboration activities, which focus on reading, writing and language arts skill-building projects.
