Calypso PC System

Premio Computer introduces its new fully custom configurable Calypso PC System. Featuring infrared capabilities, the Calypso system allows operation with wireless keyboards and mouse, as well as synchronization with wireless palm computing devices. Offering flexibility, the system is configured with two PCI slots for easy system upgrades. In addition to legacy compatibility with serial and parallel ports, Calypso also provides two USB ports. The system's compact mini-tower measures just 3.5" wide by 12.5" tall.

Calypso models come with the Intel Celeron 500 MHz processor, equipped with 66 MHz front side bus, 64 MB SDRAM, a 10.2 GB hard drive, and Windows 2000 Professional. Both Celeron or Pentium III configurations are available, and include TV output, built-in audio and video, 48X CD-ROM drive, floppy drive, integrated LAN chipset for networking requirements, Intel 810E chipset, and socket 370 interface motherboard. The systems also feature Premio's new customized PC Quick Fix software, which allows convenient diagnosis of technical problems. This software allows desktops and servers to undergo a self-healing reconstruction process to recover deleted or damaged files and to repair corrupted drivers. The software can also connect the user directly to a live Premio support analyst for a real time chat session and diagnosis of problems online.
