Router Delivers Rapid DSL

Infinilink Corporation, a broadband technology provider focused on the rapid delivery of DSL, offers its i500 Ethernet ADSL router. The i500 can be used in any region where G.992.1 T1.413i2 Annex A has been deployed, including European countries. Compliant with all current industry standards, the router supports connections at up to 8 Mbps with telcos and service providers using G.lite/G.dmt (1.5 Mbps) standards.

The i500 operates with Infinilink's patent-pending DSL-ON auto-installation and configuration software. This greatly reduces the time it takes to install DSL and can virtually eliminate the installation and configuration truck toll. The router also features an embedded processor responsible for implementing all ATM and protocol encapsulation software functions, allowing it to provide an "always on" connection for network-ready PCs. In addition, its functions will not expend any CPU time for the connected PC. The i500 is compatible with Windows 95, 98, 2000 and NT4. Additional support is available for Linux and MacOS.
