New Releases...Canon U.S.A.

Canon U.S.A., Inc.'s LV-7345 ultraportable LCD multimedia plug-and-play projector is housed in a 7.7 lb. case that's smaller than a legal size sheet of paper. With a display of up to 2100 ANSI lumens, the projector's two brightness modes give teachers the flexibility to deliver presentations without concern for room lighting. The projector's 1.3x motorized optical zoom plus a 16x digital zoom project an image size up to 300" with 90 percent uniformity diagonally. The precision-engineered genuine Canon lens can display even small text and image detail legibly and clearly.

The LV-7345 includes a variety of audio and video inputs to support fully-integrated multimedia presentations, and easily plugs into laptops and desktop PCs that support Windows and Apple platforms. In addition, users of the Type I Compact Flash card, which stores presentations and digital photos, can place the card into Canon's new optional Media Card Imager to display contents through the projector without using a computer. Users control the pace of the displayed images, or they can activate the continuous playback feature to create a slide show. The LV-7345 projector is compatible with most video and audio sources, including DVDs, digital cameras and camcorders, VCRs and composite video, as well as HDTV formats for viewing high-definition television. It's also compatible with XGA, SXGA, SVGA and VGA data sources, as well as international standards such as S-video, NTSC, PAL and SECAM.

Offering a digital keystone feature that smoothly squares an image, the LV-7345 also includes a variable speed fan that reduces operating noise to permit quiet operation, and easy-to-operate controls that are located on the top of the unit. Additional options for reversing the displayed image permit the Canon LV-7345 to be mounted on the ceiling or used for rear projection.
