Douglas L. Heerema received his doctorate in economics from the University of Iowa in 1966, and passed his CPA exam in 1979. He has been a faculty member at Indiana University, Indianapolis, since 1978. As director of special programs and assistant professor at the university, his primary duties include directing the honors program in the Kelley School of Business and teaching courses in the fields of accounting, business ethics and leadership. In addition, he has received grants and fellowships from such agencies as the National Endowment for the Humanities.

Paul J. Kovacs, Ph.D., is an associate professor in the technology support and training department in the Eberly College of Business and Information Technology at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He has more than 20 years of experience both in industry, working as a computer programmer and systems analyst, and in higher education, teaching computer programming languages, systems analysis and design, database processing, and Web site design.

LeAnn Lincecum, Ph.D., is an assistant professor in the technology support and training department in the Eberly College of Business and Information Technology at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Richard L. Rogers received his doctorate in business from Pennsylvania State University in 1981. He also has his CPA license from Pennsylvania. Rogers has been a faculty member at the Indiana University Kelley School of Business in Indianapolis since 1981. He currently works with the Indiana University School of Continuing Education in developing Web courses in financial accounting.
