SchoolSuccess, Pearson Launch Assessment Reporting System

Pearson Education's SchoolSuccess, in collaboration with Pearson Early Learning Group, have launched Work Sampling Online (WSO). WSO, an Internet- and research-based instructional assessment, reporting and aggregation system, is an easy-to-use tool that allows early childhood teachers and administrators to spend more time interacting with their students and running quality programs, and less time writing and generating reports.

WSO provides practical information for teachers as well as comprehensive data for administrators. This system guides a teacher through the process of documenting and evaluating a child's progress against standards for a specific age group. Once this data is entered, the customization engine then produces individualized reports on each child and generates group summaries. WSO enables administrators to identify a program's strengths and weaknesses by providing comprehensive, aggregated outcomes reports, as well as summaries that give overall progress updates from multiple vantage points.
