Dell has expanded its family of Latitude notebook computers with the new Latitude C640. The unit features the new Mobile Intel Pentium 4 Processor-M that offers speeds up to 2.2 GHz, a 14.1” display, and connectivity through three integrated communication options: wireless networking, wired networking or a dial-up modem. The C640 is available with up to a 40 GB hard drive, with up to 1,024 MB using 226 MHz DDR SDRAM. Several options for a CD-ROM, CD-RW and DVD combinations are offered. Prices start at $1,799.
