The site is dedicated to encouraging elementary students to eat five to nine servings of fruits and vegetables, as well as be physically active every day in support of the national "5 A Day for Better Health" program. The site offers free lesson plans, music, the 5 A Day Live Performance Kit and information on nutrition. Students can play games, watch music videos, print recipes and meet the 5 A Day Friends, a cast of friendly fruits and vegetables. Teachers and parents can also order educational materials, including CD-ROMs, cookbooks, music tapes, musical performance kits and more.
