California State University of Fullerton's School of Education has developed a Web site called Multimedia Software Tools for Educators (online at http://distance-ed.fullerton.edu/k12). Dedicated to providing descriptions and evaluations of popular media production software, including HyperStudio, iMovie and PowerPoint, the site features comments and reviews posted by instructors. The reviews include details about cost, operating system considerations and supported file types, as well as an expert review of the product. In addition, other educators can add to the review by posting their own comments.
