SpectraLink Corp. (www.spectralink.com) has integrated its NetLink Wireless Telephones with Nortel Network's Business Communication Manager IP-enabled communication system. Utilizing Nortel's UniStim voice-over IP protocol, the NetLink Wireless Telephones operate as client devices on WLANs using the 802.11b standard, which allows a single wireless system to be used for connecting network computers and mobile phones. In addition, SpectraLink Voice Priority is employed on the WLAN to ensure excellent voice quality with minimal impact on data throughput.
