Updated Version of Fortres 101 Provides Ultimate Security Control

The latest version of Fortres Grand's desktop security software, Fortres 101 v5.0, is easier to configure and offers more flexibility than ever before. Acting as a security agent that resides invisibly between the computer and the user, the new version provides control over system functions and settings without altering system files, impeding applications or forcing administrators to reboot in order to restore original settings. It also monitors each action a user makes and determines if that action is permitted.

Compatible with Windows 98/Me or later, Fortres 101 v5.0 features color-coding that allows administrators to view security settings at a glance. Global settings can be altered to apply to different groups, thereby preventing inadvertent or malicious changes to system settings. In addition, the program offers the ability to restrict/block local hard drives and removable floppy disk drives, as well as any local file, folder or application. Educational pricing for Fortres 101 v5.0 starts at $59 for a single CPU license and $20 for an upgraded CPU license. For more information, visit www.fortres.com.
