Web-Based Professional Development Program Coaches Teachers

My eCoach Online (www.my-ecoach.com) by Computer Strategies LLC is a Web-based professional development program that offers customized coaching and mentoring for teachers. Focusing on professional development for technology integration, My eCoach Online helps reluctant or untrained teachers easily and successfully use technology in their classrooms. By using My eCoach Online, teachers join a networked learning community that provides communication and collaboration tools, resources, and researched-based instruction methods.

Through the site, teachers become members of a team guided by their own eCoach who provides online coaching and mentoring, ideas for building curriculum, access to a database of standards, and opportunities for collaboration on projects. The site also gives teachers access to online storage capabilities and use of a pubic library aligned to ISTE's National Educational Technology Standards for Students.
