Online Resource Assists in the Creation of Science Fair Projects

The Super Science Fair Projects Web site (www.super-science-fair-projects.com) offers resources to take middle- and high-school students step-by-step through the extensive process of completing a science fair project. The site assists students in choosing a topic and provides ideas about different experiments. It also helps students map out a project timeline, keep a science log, research a project, complete the six steps of the scientific method, and make a display board for their project. In addition, the site includes hints from the judges on how to win science fair contests.

For teachers, the site provides sample science fair projects, including experiments, topics and ideas; a teacher’s resource center; and a newsletter for the classroom. There’s also a section of the site that helps parents guide their children in the process of creating a project without having to complete it for them.
