Click to Meet 4.0

Not all videoconferencing systems require schools to purchase large or bulky hardware. In fact, Click to Meet 4.0 by First Virtual Communications (www.fvc.com) works with the hardware schools already have in place. The software integrates with common desktop applications, a microphone and webcam, the Web browser, Windows Messenger and Outlook. Click to Meet’s multipoint control and transcoding engine can connect up to 90 participants in a single videoconference call. The system is capable of inviting users to join the conference by different methods, including instant messaging, e-mail, telephone or cell phone calls. In addition, Click to Meet has options for nine languages so that users from all over the world can easily participate.
