CompuGuard CornerStone

Centurion CompuGuard CornerStoneTechnologies Inc. (www.centuriontech.com) has released an advanced hard drive and configuration protection application called CompuGuard CornerStone, which is designed to maintain the integrity of a computer’s critical configuration settings by write-protecting the user’s hard drive from permanent changes. It actually restores the computer back to its optimal configuration settings (established during installation) when the computer is rebooted, protecting it from spyware, malware and other viruses. With CornerStone installed, users can safely experiment without harming their computers and IT administrators no longer have to spend hours debugging infected computers, thereby saving institutions valuable time and money. CornerStone is loaded with features such as USB blocking and an OOPs! function, which allows the user to enable or disable the protected mode between two reboots. CornerStone can also accept advanced remote management commands from CompuGuard Control Center, a remote management program for deployment, administration and licensing of Centurion Technologies Instant Restore products.
