The NEC Tricryption Data Security System (www.necsam.com/Tricryption) helps colleges and universities meet a variety of data-privacy and confidentiality requirements, as well as build a secure and optimally connected campus. As the name implies, Tricryption performs encryption at three levels: data, keys, and the link between data and keys. The system also provides protection for data while it’s at rest in a database or folder, secures information sharing, automates “key management,” as well as integrates seamlessly with leading databases, operating platforms and enterprise applications.
