It uses an advanced multiplatform virus-inspection technology and can be configured to protect the open file shares and prevent client workstations from saving, reading, writing and executing virus-infected files. Utilizing a high-performance file analysis technology, the system accurately identifies which files may contain malicious codes and those that do not. Also available is Vexira Antivirus for Linux Workstation, which offers similar features for individual workstations. It closely monitors viruses and other suspicious activity on local hard disks, floppy disks, e-mail attachments and Internet downloads.
