CDW-G, Discovery Announce Wireless Lab Sweepstakes

CDW-G and Discovery Education have announced their third annual “Win a Wireless Lab” sweepstakes (www.discoveryschool.com/cdwg). The contest is dedicated to improving the use of technology within the educational community. This year, the contest features 33 prizes, including three grand prize winners who will each receive 20 IBM notebooks, 20 Toshiba tablet PCs or 20 Sony notebooks, all with accompanying access points. Each wireless lab (valued at more than $40,000) also includes a Bretford mobile notebook cart, an HP laser printer, an InFocus projector, and on-site setup and training from CDW-G and Discovery Education.

In other CDW-G news, the company has been awarded a one-year contract to provide IT products and services to Troy University, the second largest university in Alabama. The contract enables the university to purchase any product from CDW-G’s catalog, which includes more than 100,000 products from leading technology companies. The university chose CDW-G because it wanted a partner to help select the most appropriate IT products and services for its unique needs.
