Seiko Smart Label Printers

 

SEIKO INSTRUMENTS USA (www.siibusinessproducts.com) has added three new models to its line of Smart Label Printers: the SLP 410 (one-inch model), 420 (two-Smart Label Printers from Seiko inch model), and 430 (two-inch, high-speed model). Each label printer, which is about the size of a Rolodex, offers built-in USB and serial connections, a print speed of eight seconds per label (three seconds for the 430), and a 203 dpi resolution. The label printers are also Windows- and Mac OScompatible, and feature direct thermal printing technology, eliminating the need for costly inks, ribbons, and toner. Also, with Seiko’s Smart Label software, faculty and staff can customize their own professional- quality labels quickly and easily, mixing and matching fonts, graphics, and bar codes on the same label. Price: $99 for the SLP 410, $119 for the 420, and $189 for the 430.
