K-12 Instructional Software Sets Up for Online Access

Education technology company Curriculum Advantage recently announced its plans to make content for Classworks, a K-12 instructional tool, available on the Internet. The software is designed for teachers to assign and monitor progress for curriculum in English, language arts, and math.

With the Internet addition, teachers and administrators can monitor progress in the classroom or for a single student at any time. According to Curriculum Advantage, the completed first phase, out of three phases, is designed to allow for administration access. Educators have the option to view student data within different groupings, from a single student or class to the whole district.

The second phase includes an interface designed for teachers to monitor and assign lesson plans to students from a computer with online access, according to Curriculum Advantage. Lessons, quizzes, and remediation, included in the software, will be available online after the last Web conversion phase.
