##AUTHORSPLIT##<--->

Interwrite Learning has announced an update to its Interwrite Pad, a wireless (Bluetooth) interactive pad designed for classroom use.

The Interwrite Pad allows teachers to create interactive whiteboards using any surface in a classroom in conjunction with a digital projector. It also provides remote access to the teacher's computer and lesson materials. Multiple Pads can be used in the same classroom.

The new version of Interwrite Pad receives adjustments to its look and feel and also now comes bundled with Interwrite Workspace, which normally sells for $249. Workspace is a teaching software that provides educators with more than 4,000 K-12 teaching resources, including Interwrite Sims, which is a library of educational Flash files. Workspace also includes access to Interwrite's online library of lessons created by teachers.

In addition to providing Workspace free with new Interwrite Pd units, Interwrite is also offering free upgrades to current Pad users. (See link below.)
