##AUTHORSPLIT##<--->

Rankin County School District, located in Mississippi, announced that it will deploy AnComm's anonymous reporting and emergency notification system in 13 schools for the upcoming school year. The program is designed to increase the flow of communications between faculty, administration, and students at the schools, allowing students to communicate problems and issues without embarrassment or retribution, according to Rankin County Schools.

"The Rankin County School District is committed to fostering a safer, more comfortable learning environment for all of our students," said Lynn Weathersby, superintendent at the Rankin County School District . "With AnComm's 'Talk About It' anonymous online messaging service, we are placing communications at the heart of our school safety efforts. This new technology will help us facilitate an online dialog between school officials and students."

Students will be able to visit an online portal on the school's "Talk About It" Web page using a confidential pass code. Students can choose from a pull-down menu for topics, and messages will be sent to the designated faculty member, who will receive a pop-up notice of such message.
