Xap Transcript eXchange Gets SIF 2 Certification

##AUTHORSPLIT##<--->

Xap announced recently it has received SIF 2 certification for its Xap Transcript eXchange 2.0 from the Schools Interoperability Framework Association (SIFA). The new status is effective as of now and makes the platform among the first of its kind to receive the certification, according to Xap.

The SIF 2 Enabled Product Standard certification comes as a result of the Transcript eXchange's ability to securely exchange school and student data with all SIFA-member information systems.

"We are pleased receive this certification as we see it as an integral part of maintaining our leadership position in the transcript exchange field," said Xap CEO J. Michael Thompson, in a prepared statement. "The certification is additional validation for our PK-12 customers that our SIF-based interoperability solutions are easy-to-implement, reliable and efficient."

According to Xap, the company has already transmitted more than 1.8 million transcripts between more than 1,500 institutions nationwide.
