Arkansas District Deploys AVG for Network Protection

##AUTHORSPLIT##<--->

Arkadelphia Public Schools in Arkansas has switched to AVG Anti-Virus--with the help of value-added technology distributor, Walling Data Systems--to secure the district's network of more than 700 workstations.

According to the announcement, the new system offers the district a high level of security, while special education pricing from Walling has helped Arkadelphia decrease the cost associated with their previous system. In addition to budget considerations, the district has also cited ease of use as a major benefit of the new software.

"We have a large network with five schools and over 700 workstations, so it was very helpful to have Walling Data help me work through the process," said Joey Andrews, computer technician for Arkadelphia School System, in a prepared statement. "All I had to do was watch and learn as they remotely set up AVG on our network. It was extremely easy and completely pain-free."

The district also receives Walling Data's free, unlimited support, giving them access to the company's service via phone, e-mail, or Internet.
